Shipping Methods

 

We offer the following shipping methods for most items:

 
Due to recent USPS (united states postal services) difficulties we no longer feel it is safe to use the post office to deliver our larger packages to you. All larger packages will be shipped by UPS (united parcel services). Please note that insurance is included in the shipping at no additional charge .

We offer UPS services
ground (up to 7 business days Monday-Friday)
3 day select (receiving package 3 days after we have processed the item and shipped)
2nd day air ( receiving package 2 days after we have processed and shipped the item)
overnight  (receiving the package the next day after we have processed and shipped the item)
 

USPS (post office)

Packages under a pound maybe shipped VIA USPS first class mail at your request and with understanding that we are not responsible if the post office losses your package,damages the package,or try's to charge you double or triple the shipping cost even after it has been paid. We have add a $2.75 handling fee to cover the cost of insurance and delivery confirmation.

 

Please Note: Shipping times do not include the amount of time it takes to process an order (up to 7 business days does not include weekend or holidays) before it is given to the shipping carrier.

 

If you demand USPS shipping services you must purchase insurance and file all claims  for lost and damaged packages with the post office yourself.

Split Shipments

 

We may fulfill the items in your order at different times and with different vendors, so your order may arrive in different boxes and at different times.

 

You will receive a confirmation email for each shipment. The email also lists the items that have already shipped and those still to be shipped. We do not charge extra for these split shipments.


We are GO GREEN which means no invoices in your packages. You will receive all details by email.

 

Heavy or Oversize Items

 

Shipping time: Oversize items will be shipped through a freight company. They will arrive approximately 7 to 14 business days after leaving our warehouse.

 

Shipping cost: Oversize items have a special shipping cost. You will see your actual shipping cost during checkout.

 

Delivery process: The freight company will contact you in advance to schedule a delivery date and time. For most freight deliveries, the item will be left at the curbside of your address. The freight company will not take the item inside your home, so we recommend that you have at least one other person available to help you move it to its final location.

 

Before you sign for the delivery, please inspect the packaging for any potential damage that may have occurred during transit. It is normal for the packaging to show some wear. However, if there is visible content damage, refuse delivery of the order and contact us. Please have your order number available.

 

Please note: Delivery of oversize items is limited to street addresses in the 48 contiguous states. Oversize items cannot be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii

 

Shipping to a Different Address

 

During checkout, you can add new shipping addresses to your Address Book, so each time you check out you can choose from these stored addresses.

 

If your order is shipping to an address other than the billing address on your credit card, we may contact you to list the alternate address with your credit card company.

 

Your order will not be processed until your payment has been confirmed. This helps prevent fraudulent use of your credit card.

 

To list the alternate address with your credit card company, just call the 800 number on the back of your card and ask the agent to add the address to the notes on your account. Listing the address before you place an order helps us process your order more quickly.

 

Types of Email Confirmations

 

After you place an order with Sewingfinethingsandmore.com, we'll email you with pertinent information about your order's status. For example:

 
  • Soon after you place an order, we'll send an email confirming we have received it.
  • We will send more than one shipment confirmation email if we fulfill the order in multiple shipments.
  • We might also send other emails about your order's status, if necessary.
 

Please save these emails for your records.

 

Where You Can Ship Your Order

We ship most items to all states, including Alaska and Hawaii.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but the integrity of the safe and prompt delivery of your purchase is up most important to us.

Ship to Your Workplace

 

We recommend using your workplace address as your shipping destination. There are a number of benefits you can enjoy:

 
  • Convenience: no need to be at home to accept a delivery or retrieve your package from the carrier's location
  • Privacy: helps keep gifts a secret
  • Security: no unattended packages
  • Safety: no damaged packages from being left out in bad weather or disturbed by outdoor pets
  • Time savings: receive packages directly and personally
  • Positive environmental impact: carriers are delivering to your office anyway — this saves them from driving to your home as well
 

Please check your office policy to see if personal deliveries are permitted and consider shipping your next order to your workplace address.

 

Total Delivery Time for Your Order

 

The total delivery time for your order is the period of time from when you place your order until the time you receive it. It is comprised of two parts: the processing time and the shipping time.


Our processing time: Is up to 7 business days this does not include weekend or holidays.
Once we ship your item that is when the shipping time frames takes into play.Even when you pay for overnight, 2nd day air or 3 day select.

 

Returns Policy

 

All merchandise purchased from sewingfinethingsandmore.com all sales are final except for what is listed below.

 

Returns Exceptions

 

Here are the exceptions to our general Returns Policy:



Item was not what you ordered (wrong item was sent to you). We will refund the entire purchase price. Or ship out the correct item to you once the wrong item has been returned. This will be your choice if you choose to have the correct item sent we will not recharge you the shipping.


Wrong sized item was sent.We will refund the entire purchase price. Or we will ship out the correct item to you once the wrong item has been returned.This will be your choice if you choose to have the correct item sent to you we will not recharge you the shipping cost.


We will not except a return if you think the item was misrepresented or if you thought it was something different. All questions need to be asked before purchase is made if you have any questions. If you are unclear on definitions used in the listing ask the question or look the term up in the dictionary.


If there is an issue with what you purchased please send us an email to see what can be done. There will a 25% restocking fee for items returned unless it falls within the above categories.


After you purchase the item and you change your mind on the item. If you email us within 24 hours from your purchase time you will be chanrged a credit card processing fee 10% of your purchase price this includes the shipping.


If you email us and changed your mind and your item has already been shipped and processed. You must email us for arrangements. If we agree to refund your money once the item is back in our hands you lose the shipping cost to you, the shipping back to us and a 25% restocking fee.


If a purchase is decided to be returned without us knowing the package will be refused and returned to the sender.


WE WILL NOT MAKE ANY EXCEPTIONS ON PERSONALIZED PRINTED ITEMS ALL THOSE SALES ARE FINAL. PLEASE MAKE SURE WHEN YOU SEND US THE PERSONALIZED INFORMATION YOU SPELL EVERYTHING CORRECTLY AS WE COPY WORD FOR WORD ON YOUR ORDER.

 

 ALL RETURNED ITEMS WE DO NOT PAY FOR THE SHIPPING BACK TO US NOR DO WE REFUND THAT AMOUNT TO YOU.

 

Error-Related Refunds
If there is an error on our part related to your order, we will issue a credit for any applicable shipping.
